Masterchef
I got the the final 3 of Masterchef 2009 and narrowly missed out to Mat Follas - the deserved winner on the day (see his blog link below).

Billingsgate Fish market - it's brilliant! bargain fish & quite a spectacle
Lebanese supermarket on Edgeware Rd stocking every Middle Eastern ingredient you could imagine
L.Booth - my fav shop at Borough Market, it sells loads of interesting ingredients & everything is top quality
My local (& and possibly London's best) fruit n veg store - run by a Kurdish hero named Bora
TFC - a huge Turkish supermarket in Hackney with bakery & butcher.
Vietnamese supermarkets in Hackney - there's about 4 right here. they're cheap and stock great ingredients
Taj Stores - well known & awesome Bangladeshi store on Brick Lane, has a massive array of spices & fruit n veg from all over Asia
