Seafood BBQ, Mui Ne

Al fresco seafood BBQ, Mui Ne: the unlucky prawns, crabs, fish, lobster, turtle (yes turtle) etc.... are kept live in tanks of sea water.

You point, and the nice Vietnamese people slap it on the grill.

They're good at it too; I went back two nights running and everything I ate was perfectly cooked (which isn't as easy as it sounds).

Crabs and lobster are grilled plain, then served with lime, white pepper & salt:

Little sweet tasting scallops get a brushing with spring onion oil:

...& tiger prawns get a simple garlic marinade:

Then you just buy a few beers, and perhaps a french bagette or two, and you're set.

(I didn't try the turtle).
